O bsessive- C ompulsive D isorder (OCD) OCD is a chronic and long-lasting mental health disorder which affect peope of all ages and walk lifes.It occurs when a person get caught in cycle of OBSESSIONS AND COMPULSIONS. It is related with interacion OBSSESIONS: Unwanted,intrusive thoughts,images or urges that trigger intemsely distressing feelings.This obsesion get in the way of important acivities the person values.This is important to distinguish between a OCD or an obsessive personality trait. Examples: obsessions towards homosexuality,fear of stealing things,fear of losing things,excesive concern with wrong/right or morality,superstitious ideas of luky/unluky numbers or certain colours...
